Rainbow noodle? Why not. May be some of you have ever heard about healthy noodle made from vegetables. I tried one of them at BSD, it is not very far from Ice BSD and Teras Kota Mall. One thing came up in my mind when I hear Bakmi restaurant was a classic shop or may be a food truck, and I was wrong.
It was clean, good front shop and consisted of many separated area. First was non smoking area, it has AC on it and cozy beautiful sofas. Another area was a non smoking area which also separated into two. One side is close enough with the indoor areas, and next to it was the ground area where there was another yummy food stall.
They even have cute seating corner that made you feel like you are on a telenovela or Korean Drama LOL. Me and my mom picked the outdoor area not because we're smoking, it's because we want to feel more outdoor atmosphere. This is very important information that they are 100% HALAL. They don't serve pork menus like usual noodle resto.
I skimmed for their menu and I thought they have a reasonable price. It's affordable and not too pricy for one portion of noodle. Let's take a look to what we ordered.
MIE AYAM PELANGI (IDR 27K) & BAKSO GORENG (IDR 8K/pcs)
Soon enough we picked our seat, we were suddenly served with various fried snack. It was tempting I know, but I kept reminding myself that I want to eat all of the noodle menu that we ordered. So we just tried two pieces of BAKSO GORENG which was absolutely recommended. Nice composition of meat and flour with well fried. I swear I would eat more if I didn't order another menu.
Don't be confused, the waiter has already told me where were those colors came from. Green noodle are made from mustard green, yellow color comes from carrot and purple color are from peat fruit. So it is a healthy noodle.
Their noodle was very light with less oily. It was also nicely rubbery, similar with another good noodle. I love their chicken meat.
I think I will only review about PANGSIT REBUS since JERUK HANGAT was just a very common beverages for all of you HAHAHA.
Actually I don't really recommend this menu, it's good but not outstanding. As far as I know, traditional Chinese dumplings was very slippery, it's even very hard for you to catch it with chopstick. But this one wasn't and it was too much seasoning. I think it will be better if they can make it more plain.
It was such a nice feeling when I can find a good and healthy noodle restaurant cause I love BAKMI so much. So this resto is fully recommended if you're looking for healthy yet yummy food.
