MUTE TRIES EVERYTHING - AT STARBUCKS [PART 7]

November is here, rainy and cold all day. Coffee is the best companion for all of us to get through the day. Welcome back to MUTE TRIES EVERYTHING - AT STARBUCKS. This is the 7th post of this section and I couldn't thankful more for everything that I have been through.

Without any further-a-do, let's check out to what I ordered at Starbucks this week!

BUTTER CROISSANT (IDR 14K) & HAZELNUT LATTE - Tall (IDR 48K)

Croissant is a pastry shaped like crescent moon, usually served plain, with butter or consist various jam inside it. This time I ordered a classic croissant served with unsalted butter.

Let's start from it's size. It probably 15 - 20 cm long with a reasonable girth. It fits as a portion for one person. You get additional unsalted butter for it.

It's fresh and warm from the oven. It's not too greasy and light but I am in love with it's crisp, very satisfying. The inner dough taste even better, it's soft and not too dense. Even though it's very plain but it's good and taste well even though I eat them cold I believe.

Hazelnut is like a taste of heaven, it's super satisfying and fit to almost every sweet food or beverages. But I have to be honest in this case, it's just so so and not like what I expected.

What's good from it was just it's aroma, it could warm me on a rainy and windy day. I found it's hazelnut flavor was not too strong so I couldn't differentiate the difference between Hazelnut Latte and ordinary coffee milk. Do I like it? Yes, of course I just thought that it's not one of my favorite.

Yes, I think that's all from my seventh Starbucks article. I will write another review about anything at Starbucks, I can't really wait to my next review.

Warung Bu Kris - Serpong

Have you ever visit to this Restaurant and think that we need more place like this? This place is perfect to pamper your hungry tummy. The food was delicious with comfort place and very low budget menu! Located not really far from Taman Kota , this place should be your must-go list.

They don't have a very big space but it still comfortable, but fit for family or small group of people. Lunch time had to be over already when I arrived but I could still see a lot of people were queuing to go in. With a very crowded Restaurant like this, you know what you'd expect right?

They basically sold various "penyet" food. Penyet in Indonesia refer to food is any kind of food that served very soft and tender. It usually smashed with pestle before or after it fried. We can find a lot of Warung Penyet in Jabodetabek and Warung Bu Kris is one the best.

Here's some of the food that I ordered.

All of them were fried food with super good chili sauce. I think all of them are not only my favorite but also most of their customers, cause these menus were ordered by most of them. My favorites are:

BAKSO PENYET (IDR 28K)

This menu is great, I love it so much. It looked tempting and tempted me even more when I ate it. The sauce would refresh you when you're sleepy I believe. Their meatballs were good, but a little bit too chewy for me. Overall this menu is recommended.

LELE PENYET (IDR 28K) & AYAM PENYET DADA (IDR 24K)

When Lele Penyet was served, we were shocked, because we thought that we ordered this too much. We remembered asking for only 4 portions of Lele Penyet but they gave us 8 portions of it. Apparently, one portion consist of two small pieces of catfish that's why we received 8 of them. LOL

Both of Lele Penyet and Ayam Penyet presented a very nice cooking skill. They were cooked very well with a very exact timing. You can try a super hot chili sauce if you want, since their sauce was extremely good.

We were super full back then after gobbled a lot of food at Warung Bu Kris. I literally recommend it to you because this place has various good food with an acceptable price, nice and quick service.

MUTE TRIES EVERYTHING - AT STARBUCKS [PART 6]

If you think about drinking coffee, STARBUCKS may be the brand that comes out on your mind, well at least for most of people. It's one of the biggest franchised coffee shop in Indonesia or probably in the entire world. You can find it at the malls, rest areas, airports or anywhere else.

That was the reason why I want to try all of their menus at the first place. Because STARBUCKS is everyone's favorite so I can share something in common with all of you. Now let's get started to see what I tried this week:

CINNAMON ROLLS (IDR 22K) & HOT CARAMEL LATTE - Tall (IDR 48K)

This Cinnamon Rolls is a rolled bun made from flour, sugar, cinnamon and other tasty stuffs. It was warmly served with icing and raisins. The roll was very soft which I like. They didn't add the icing too much but I didn't know why it still tasted too sweet.

It had very strong cinnamon sense and flavor on the bun. So I think they should add more raisins or may be slice of almond nuts will be nice. Overall this cinnamon rolls is common with other cinnamon rolls but nothing made me disappointed.

I drank this beverage with no sugar and this latte tasted so good. It fit perfectly with Cinnamon Roll, because the coffee was perfect bitter and the rolls was sweet. One thing that I clearly note was the sense of coffee was too strong until I could nearly detect it's caramel (I didn't even add any extra shot)

I don't make the description too much about this latest visit, because I think all of them was just ordinary. Not bad, but it was exactly on the place they have to be. So see you next time!

Bakmie Ayam Pelangi - Serpong

Rainbow noodle? Why not. May be some of you have ever heard about healthy noodle made from vegetables. I tried one of them at BSD, it is not very far from Ice BSD and Teras Kota Mall. One thing came up in my mind when I hear Bakmi restaurant was a classic shop or may be a food truck, and I was wrong.

It was clean, good front shop and consisted of many separated area. First was non smoking area, it has AC on it and cozy beautiful sofas. Another area was a non smoking area which also separated into two. One side is close enough with the indoor areas, and next to it was the ground area where there was another yummy food stall.

They even have cute seating corner that made you feel like you are on a telenovela or Korean Drama LOL.  Me and my mom picked the outdoor area not because we're smoking, it's because we want to feel more outdoor atmosphere. This is very important information that they are 100% HALAL. They don't serve pork menus like usual noodle resto.

I skimmed for their menu and I thought they have a reasonable price. It's affordable and not too pricy for one portion of noodle. Let's take a look to what we ordered.

MIE AYAM PELANGI (IDR 27K) & BAKSO GORENG (IDR 8K/pcs)

Soon enough we picked our seat, we were suddenly served with various fried snack. It was tempting I know, but I kept reminding myself that I want to eat all of the noodle menu that we ordered. So we just tried two pieces of BAKSO GORENG which was absolutely recommended. Nice composition of meat and flour with well fried. I swear I would eat more if I didn't order another menu.

Don't be confused, the waiter has already told me where were those colors came from. Green noodle are made from mustard green, yellow color comes from carrot and purple color are from peat fruit. So it is a healthy noodle.

Their noodle was very light with less oily. It was also nicely rubbery, similar with another good noodle. I love their chicken meat.

PANGSIT REBUS 5 PCS (IDR 21K) & JERUK HANGAT (IDR 19K)

I think I will only review about PANGSIT REBUS since JERUK HANGAT was just a very common beverages for all of you HAHAHA.

Actually I don't really recommend this menu, it's good but not outstanding. As far as I know, traditional Chinese dumplings was very slippery, it's even very hard for you to catch it with chopstick. But this one wasn't and it was too much seasoning. I think it will be better if they can make it more plain.

It was such a nice feeling when I can find a good and healthy noodle restaurant cause I love BAKMI so much. So this resto is fully recommended if you're looking for healthy yet yummy food.
