What's Up Cafe - Pasar Lama, Tangerang

Currently, fusion instant noodle is becoming a trend lately and What's Up Cafe is one of it. What's Up Cafe spread among so many area in Jabodetabek. Well you know, my home is in Tangerang so I visited What's Up Cafe Pasar Lama, Tangerang.

It's a catchy front looking restaurant with a reddish big sign board and located precisely at the food center in Tangerang. When we entered the cafe, it was separated into smoking area and non-smoking area (with air conditioner). I am not a smoker and that was a hot-weather lunch happened back then so we decided to sit on non-smoking area.

They also provide so many board games such as monopoli, scrabble, UNO cards etc.

After we took a quick scan of their menu, I realized that their signature menu is of course instant noodle with so many seasoning added. Actually I wanted to eat their Indomie Blackpepper Beef but unfortunately it's out of order so I picked Indomie Carbonara.

Here's what we order :

Nasi Goreng Special (IDR 25K) & Nasi Goreng Bule (IDR 20K)

Nasi goreng spesial is fried rice served with sunny side up and sausage while nasi goreng bule is fried rice that fried together with peas and carrot. The difference between them was nasi goreng special was fried with ketchup while the other one wasn't. I love nasi goreng bule better because even though it looked much simpler but that what's make it easier to eat because we wouldn't feel full too fast.

Indomie Carbonara (IDR 25K)

This meal was more than I expected. It had so much cheese and lots of cream. It served with smoked beef and mushroom.

Roti Bakar Coklat (IDR 14K)

Just like any other roast bread. My rule for roast bread is "more is more". Whenever there are more toppings added, it's always delicious for me.

That was a huge lunch because I think I ate too much that day. Overall, I, especially my mom like this place and she promised to go back. May be we can try other branch on the other city.

Sapu Lidi Resort & Cafe

Who doesn't know Sapu Lidi Resort & Cafe in Bandung? This back-to-nature concept resort provide a hommy and comfortable lodging. Too bad I didn't get a chance to stay there because it's full rent and there's no more room left, but I will still share to you all about my experience in having dinner there.

Firstly me and my family decided to have a short vacation to Lembang - Bandung. But since we didn't get a room at Sapu Lidi so we chose to stay in my family's villa at Puncak. After two days stayed at Puncak, we stopped by to Lembang to had dinner at Sapu Lidi.

This is a very beautiful restaurant with the touch of nature, This resto is also highly recommended for family gathering. It consist of so many wood Gazebos with thick and shady roof.

The meals were dominated with Sundanese food with the Karedok as it's favorite menu. We also chose Chicken Satay and utterly proven that it's not a wrong choice. I'm in love with Nila Bakar as well.

Overall I really love the romantic yet natural atmosphere that this resto able to create. And my most favorite menu is Nila Bakar. You don't have to worry about the price, it's so make sense for family quality time with approximately IDR 60 - 100 K per person, you can even reserve the table. I left so many photos for this Resto because I love the interior so much and I absolutely will be back here.
