Travelling is such a fun activity to do,
whether you go with by yourself, your family, you best friend or your couple.
But sometimes when you are in the middle of enjoyable travelling moment, there might be the time when suddenly that
“monthly routine” happen. All girls know really well when having period will
cause a terrible limply body, unmood, or probably “unpretty” facial expression
PLUS! your bag should left an extra space for your period stuffs.
Actually, you don’t have to worry that much.
You only need some extra preparation for your amenities. Here’s some tips for
you to enjoy travelling during your period.
Prepare sanitary napkins! Always!
This is extremely important!
You have to prepare your sanitary napkins that you are already comfortable
with, because other brand might cause discomfortability and irritant. I suggest
you to choose wing’s type one with high absorptive capacity to make you move
freely. Don’t forget to keep your sanitary napkins in a clean and waterproof
container or small bag. Even though it’s your time yet but still it’s better to
have a good preparation to make sure your comforty while travelling.
Wear a Proper Underwear
Wear the underwear which fit
with your hip and waist shape will help you so much in moving easily. This is
also important to keep your napkins well placed and not sliding to unproper
place. Bring your underwear as many as possible and continously change your
underwear couple times in a day.
Stay Clean
When you are having a period,
your sensitive area are getting more damp. So change your napkins in every 4 to
6 hours to make it stay fresh, clean and comfort. 4 to 6 hours is enough to
prevent your napkins is too damp and smells badly (it’s no-no). Also don’t
forget to clean your sensitive area to prevent bacteria.
Way to Dispose It
Prepare paper or plastic bag
to dispose your used ones. Wrap it neatly then throw it away to the trash bin.
Please remember not to throw your napkins promiscuously or even in the toilet.
Besides it’s not good for environment it’s also can cause clogging.
Prepare some Medicine or Pain
Killer
One thing that really
annoying when you have a period is the possibilities to have stomachache. This
syndrome is unavoidable.Here’s some way to relieve it:
a. Drink a hot beverages like a hot ginger
because ginger can naturally decrease the pain.
b. Compress your belly with hot water
to loosen your belly’s muscle and decrease pain.
c. One of the way to cure is by
having a pain killer or medicine. This is not a sponsored article nor an
endorsed one. I just give you some solution especially for those who undeniably
will have a stomache everytime you have a period. I usually bring Feminax, even
though I never use it but I guess it’s better to prepare. You can have any
other medicine option that you used to drink. I personally not really advice
drinking pain killer too much because it won’t be good for your body.
